POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

Exciting research on the structure, function, and cell biology of cell surface receptors. Topics include conformational changes in ectodomains, transmembrane domains, and cytoplasmic domains in signaling through integrins and EGFR, and how selectins and integrins mediate force-resistant interactions in the vasculature. Strong backgrounds in structural and computational biology, protein chemistry, cell biology, fluorescence microscopy, biophysics, and/or bioengineering are particularly sought. Studies of the dynamics of integrins and associating molecules in cells by FRET and other fluorescent techniques. Candidates with prior experience in these latter areas are especially encouraged to apply. Good command of English is required.
